Welcome to iktara - the melody of Sufi colours. For us ‘Sufi’ is not an exclusive term representing the mystic tradition of Muslims but is the soul and wisdom present in all times and in almost all cultures. Each soul is spiritual and immortal.

Our site aims to bring joy to the soul in the midst of everyday life. As the author Erich Fromm wrote: ‘Living itself is an art’. We seek to practice this art by elevating health and happiness through healing, music, poetry, dance and blissful living. At iktara you will find articles that will give you insight into age-old wisdom. You will discover many well-being methods including Baraka energy healing, Star Therapy and Dhamal - Sufi Trance Dance.
